We enjoyed our time with Jaime. Jaime recently accompanied me and my friends (3 adults, 1 child) to the Honjo Life Safety Learning Center. Thanks to Jaime’s English-Japanese interpretation skills, we experienced immersive simulations of earthquakes, typhoons, smoke, and floods with guidance in Japanese from the fire station’s employees. We got to know Jaime over a vegan lunch at Sasaya Cafe, where he helped me navigate the restaurant’s app. In the afternoon, my husband and I walked with Jaime to the location where the main character had lived in the Wim Wenders 2023 film “Perfect Days”. As Jaime had enjoyed the film as much as we did, this pilgrimage was meaningful for everyone!

While all our experiences are private and curated, the Bespoke Journey is our highest-tier service, built from the ground up through a multi-step Design Phase. It involves a deeper collaboration to craft a fully personalized multi-day or single-day itinerary around your specific passions—whether that's rare architectural tours, specific culinary interests, or unique cultural introductions.
How personalized will my itinerary be?
Completely. Your itinerary is crafted from the ground up based on your interests, pace, and preferences. We build a journey that feels entirely yours, balancing iconic locations with hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path discoveries. Two rounds of refinements are included to ensure a perfect fit.
How does the payment process and Design Fee work?
Our process is simple and transparent. A Design Fee is requested to begin the in-depth itinerary design process. This fee is then credited in full toward your final invoice when you book. To confirm your journey, the final Experience Fee is paid in full.
How far in advance should I book?
To allow for our detailed curation process, we recommend starting your plan at least 30 days in advance. For requests with less notice, we will certainly do our best to design a personalized journey for you but please note that options for certain high-demand venues or experiences may be more limited. We encourage you to inquire with your dates so we can check the possibilities.
Can you accommodate specific interests or mobility needs?
Yes, absolutely. Accommodating your specific interests is the core of the Bespoke Journey. Our intake form includes sections for your preferred pace and any mobility considerations, which are central to how we design the flow and logistics of your itinerary.
