Booking & Payment Policy

All bookings must be made through our website or by direct inquiry.
Full payment in Japanese yen (JPY) is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
Prices shown in your local currency are for reference only. The final checkout is processed in Japanese yen, and the actual amount charged may vary based on your bank’s exchange rate and any transaction fees at the time of payment.
Payment is securely processed via Stripe. In case of payment disputes, errors, or suspected fraud, please contact us immediately. All payment disputes will be handled in accordance with our Payment Dispute Resolution Policy (available upon request).
You will receive an email confirmation upon successful payment.
Bookings cannot be transferred to other persons under any circumstance. If you are unable to attend your booked tour, you may cancel or change your reservation in accordance with the “Cancellation & Refund Policy” and the “Rescheduling Policy” outlined below; transfers are not permitted.
By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these policies and terms and conditions.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations 14 days or more before the scheduled tour: Full refund (less a 5% credit card processing fee).
Cancellations 8–13 days before the tour: 50% refund.
Cancellations 4–7 days before the tour: 25% refund.
Cancellations within 72 hours of the tour: No refund.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days. Please note, actual posting times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
No refunds are provided for late arrivals or no-shows.

Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling is free of charge if requested at least 14 days in advance.
Rescheduling requests made less than 14 days before the tour incur a ¥5,000 fee.
Rescheduling is not permitted within 72 hours of the tour, except in cases of severe weather or force majeure (see below).
All rescheduling is subject to availability.

Severe Weather & Force Majeure Definition
- Severe weather is defined as typhoons, major earthquakes, government-issued weather warnings, or other officially recognized events that make it unsafe or impossible to operate the tour.
- Force majeure means natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, or other events that are unforeseeable and beyond the reasonable control of Tokyo Dream Tours, preventing the safe delivery of your tour.

Participant Policy

The standard tour price includes up to 4 participants.
Additional guests may join for ¥3,000 per person, up to a maximum of 9 participants per tour.
For larger groups, please inquire for customized arrangements.
Minors under 18 must be accompanied by their parent, legal guardian, or an adult authorized in writing by the parent or legal guardian.
We strive to accommodate all guests; if you have specific accessibility or dietary needs, please let us know at the time of booking. While we will do our best, not all tours or venues may be fully accessible, and certain accommodations may not be possible.

Weather & Force Majeure Policy

Tours operate rain or shine, except in the event of severe weather or force majeure as defined above.
If a tour is canceled by Tokyo Dream Tours for these reasons, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra charge.

Liability Waiver & Travel Insurance

By participating in our tours, you acknowledge and accept that certain risks and unforeseen circumstances may arise, including but not limited to injury, illness, property loss, accident, or delays.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tokyo Dream Tours and its representatives are not liable for any personal injury, illness, property loss, accident, delay, or indirect or consequential damages incurred during your experience, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Tokyo Dream Tours is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or services of any third-party providers, including but not limited to restaurants, attractions, or transportation services, except as required by law.
We highly recommend all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for medical expenses and personal belongings.

Your privacy is important to us. All personal information provided during booking is used solely for organizing your tour and is not shared with third parties except as required by law.
All payments are securely processed via Stripe; we do not store your payment details.

Terms & Conditions

By booking with Tokyo Dream Tours, you agree to follow these policies and to cooperate with your guide to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all.
If a guest’s behavior disrupts the safety or enjoyment of the group, we reserve the right to end their participation without refund.
Tokyo Dream Tours reserves the right to modify the itinerary, substitute activities, or make other adjustments in the event of unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will endeavor to provide equivalent experiences or alternatives.
Any complaints or disputes should be submitted in writing within 14 days of the tour. We aim to resolve complaints within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may have access to an independent dispute resolution body as required by law.
Tokyo Dream Tours reserves the right to update these policies at any time; however, changes will not affect bookings already made without prior notice and consent.
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan and the courts of Tokyo, except as otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.
Any disputes arising from these policies or your participation in our tours shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tokyo, Japan, to the extent permitted by law.
